Lydia Pan from Wild Ones will present a slide talk on how to harvest, clean, and store seed from a variety of native species so you can boost the biodiversity and resilience of our ecosystems by growing from seed. Learn ethical harvesting principles, how to tell when seed is ripe, which seeds can be stored for years and which must be planted as soon as they ripen. This program is hosted by the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (DPNC) and open to the public.
Preregistration is required since space is limited.
